Travel Food & Wine Oh My!

Hi, I’m Shayne, and I love to travel, EAT, and enjoy sipping on sinfully delicious drinks. Food is my happy place. Maybe too much of a happy place for me. Travel is a love. I love to explore new places, new cultures, new food inspirations and fill the memory box with my family.

I have been debating for a while, going back and forth about writing a blog.  After a much needed girls weekend away to Charleston, SC back Labor Day weekend 2018, which was nothing but heaven.  Away from the hubby. Away from the kids. And just a relaxing get away, so I decided to jump fully into the blog scene and just do it! But I really didn’t. I didn’t have the passion for blogging like I thought I did. So here we are now. One of my Girl Friends start a side hobby blog. She has given me inspiration to pick this back up and really give it ago. BTW check her out over on The Dinner Shift https://thedinnershift.com/. She is awesome and so is her blog.

A little background about me – My husband and I have been together for 15yrs now and married for 12yrs. We both grew up in Ontario, Canada, but now live in Cleveland, OH. We have two little ones and a dog. We love to explore new places, but also enjoy being homebodies. I love entertaining and planning and my husband just goes along for the ride, much to his dismay. You could call three out of four of us foodies. Our son is very picky, where as our daughter will try something at least once and then decide, if she actually likes it. We love to travel and see the world. Although the furthest I have been has been Colombia, South America, My husband has traveled to China when he was in school, doing his MBA. We are hoping to see more of the world as the kids get older and they can have life experiences so we can enjoy all together as a family. I’m looking forward to sharing my travels, food and wine with you. I hope it leads you to your next adventure whatever it may be.

This has been edited and revamped since 2018. We are now in May of 2020. We are in the middle of a global wide pandemic of Covid-19. Hence for me picking up where I left off.
